Ghana Coach Chris Hughton has finalized a 27-man squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The squad contains a number of important players who are anticipated to play crucial roles in the forthcoming competition.

Mohammed Kudus, a striker for West Ham who has scored 10 goals across all competitions, is one of the standout additions. Inaki Williams, a striker for Athletic Bilbao, gives the team more firepower thanks to his stellar eight-goal record.

The team is captained by Andre Ayew. The inclusion of Mohammed Salisu, a defender for Monaco having overcome injury setbacks early in the season, bolsters the defensive line-up.

Richmond Lamptey, a midfielder for Asante Kotoko who was recognized for his exceptional play in the Ghana Premier League, is a notable addition. Along with Jonathan Sowah, a striker, and the Medeama tandem of Fatawu Hamidu, Lamptey is one of the three players in the squad that is based at home.

The last team will begin training in Kumasi on January 2 in preparation for the competition in Ivory Coast. Egypt, Cape Verde, and the four-time African champion Black Stars are in a difficult Group B with Mozambique.
