The burial service of former Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency and Council of State member, ET Mensah, will take place today, Friday, January 5, 2024, at the forecourt of the State House.
His body was laid in state at his residence in Prampram on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 5 to 10 pm.
His thanksgiving service will be held at the Methodist Church in Prampram on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
ET Mensah, who is a former Minister for Youth and Sports died aged 77, in South Africa in October 2023, after battling ill-health for some time.
The experienced politician during the time of the PNDC military regime was the long time Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA).
He joined the National Democratic Congress when it was formed in 1992.
ET Mensah was a Member of Parliament from January 1997 till January 2017 and held several portfolios in government.
