Asamoah Gyan, former Captain of Ghana’s Senior Soccer Team, Black Stars has been named as part of a team assigned to put together a manifesto for the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for the 2024 polls.
Asamoah Gyan chairs the Youth and Sports sub-committee.
This was disclosed in a press release signed by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for Bawumia’s campaign team.
The committee shall be responsible for undertaking a holistic review of the party’s 2016 and 2020 manifestos and engaging all relevant stakeholders to come up with a pragmatic 2024 manifesto.
