Kwaku Sintim-Misa aka “KSM”, a Ghanaian Actor, Director and Satirist says Ghana has leadership crisis, a situation that has prevented the country from becoming wealthy though it is blessed with abundance of natural resources.
According to the him, the country lacks the brainwork that it’s needed to take advantage of the resources to become rich.
”People would have put it to work if we had dynamic leadership that was driving them like crazy. We have a complete leadership crisis…I was listening to the young guys, the Fix the country people. They had the vim and vigour, we need to fix the country and everything they were saying was right. However, they are talking about what Ghana needs is a third force, technically speaking the third force will be Ghana Union Movement (GUM) because he came third in the last election,” KSM said in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Starr FM.
He added: ”What Ghana needs is leadership. I like the Chinese proverb that says that the leader is like the wind and the people are like the grass. The grass will bend in the direction of the wind. That is what is missing, we don’t have that leadership that is driving this nation agressively. We need dynamic agressive leadership.”
The Media personality believes changing political parties is not the way to go in fixing Ghana.
”The way to fix Ghana is not to change the political party, it is to change the leadership. Because somebody can come in and do the same thing that political parties are doing but you need a leader who will come and steer the course and focus it in a different dirrection. I think that is what is missing in Ghana.”
