Residents of Komenda in the Central Region have declared their intentions to vote massively for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December general elections.
They said so after John Dramani Mahama and the NDC maintained the Former Minister for Education and the 2020 running mate for the party, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as running mate for the party once again.
Residents of Akatakyi Komenda in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipality where the Running mate hails from have pledged to come out in their numbers on December 7 to vote and elect John Mahama as President to fix the abandoned Suger Factory.
According to them, maintaining Prof. Jaane Naana Opoku Agyemang as running mate is the perfect move by the party which will enable the NDC win missvely during the election.
They are appealing to John Dramani Mahama and Prof Jaane Naana Opoku Agyemang not to abandon the Komenda Suger Factory if they become President and vice president respectively of the country.
They while thanking John Mahama and the NDC for maintaining Jaane Naana Opoku Agyemang as running mate, further pledged to work very hard to increase the vote margin in the upcoming general elections.
According to them, they believe NDC party is the only political party that will bring the Komenda Suger Factory back for the unemployed Youth in the area to be employed hence their resolve to ensure the NDC comes to power.
Addressing a Press Conference, the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Constituency, Secretary Charles Entsuah observed that maintaining Prof Jaane Naana Opoku Agyemang as running mate has got many people moving to the NDC.
He said, they are confident that Prof Jaane Naana Opoku Agyemang will deliver massive votes for the NDC which will ensure victory for the party.
