National Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Executives of Nigeria’s governing party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) have paid a visit to the Eastern Regional branch of the NPP.
During the visit, the discussion centred on building good party structures from the National through the regional to the constituency and the polling station level.
The Eastern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr Jeff Konadu who could not hide his excitement thanked the delegation for choosing to visit the Eastern Region NPP to understand how the party works at their level.
The National Chairman of NPP, Stephen Ntim who led the delegation also thanked the Eastern Region for making time to receive them and also mentioned that he brought the delegation to the Region for them to familiarise themselves with the structures of NPP and how the party can also learn from APC in breaking the 8 year governing cycle.
He noted that the APC broke the 8 year governing cycle in Nigeria and would be good for the two ruling party to learn from each other.
Chairman of APC, H.E Dr. Abdulahi Umar Ganduje expressed his joy for the visit and mentioned the need for the two ruling parties to continue to dialogue for the growth of their respective parties.
