The Electoral Commission has refuted allegations of a plot to rig tomorrow’s by-election in Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.
The camp of former MP and independent candidate Kwabena Owusu Aduomi has accused the governing NPP of hatching a plot to rig the process.
But speaking to Kasapa News, Municipal Electoral Officer for Ejisu Edward Gyamfi disclosed the readiness of the commission to ensure a free, fair and transparent process.
Mr. Gyamfi further disclosed all is set for the upcoming exercise which will see over 100,000 voters have the opportunity to choose a replacement for the late Dr. John Kumah as MP for Ejisu.
