The Central East Police Command has arrested 11 notorious land guards armed with weapons at Asabaham in Ga south District of the Greater Accra Region.
Information gathered by Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan indicate that the land guards have allegedly been harassing people and assaulting pregnant women for the past few months in the area, leaving the residents in a state of fear and panic.
The suspects persons are Ali Razak 34 years, Mohammed Salis 41 years, Mohammed Amin 30 years, Yussif Yakubu 31 years, Manam Mubarak 30 years, Habib Abdullai 31 years, Samuel Ametrona 26 years, Abdul Madid Adam 35 years, Iddrisu Yakubu 30 years, Nii Attoh Emmanuel 42 years and lsaac Boadu 43 years.
They were carrying cutlasses and axes in a green Toyota 4 Runner with registration number GW 4420-X when they were arrested.
Police say the suspects will be put before the law court in the coming days as investigation proceeds.
