Following the pronouncement of Judgement by Her Ladyship Justice Audrey Kocuvie-Tay, a High Court Judge at the Accra High Court yesterday 11th June 2024, the Executives of the National Health Students Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) who were elected on 16th December 2023 at the Volta region were sworn in as directed by the court.
The handing over ceremony which was organized at the Korle Klortey Municipal Assembly conference room saw the attendance of some the outgone executives including the financial secretary.
Also in attendance were the national presidents of UNSAG, PASAG NATIONAL, FG-MELSA, PHARMSSAG and other national member association (NMA) executives.
In attendance was the NUGS president (H.E. Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel) and his executives including the NUGS dep. Chief Justice.
Health Students, other well wishes and sister associations including the university students association of Ghana (USAG) were also present, and all gave their solidarity messages.
The Patron and founder of NAHSAG who couldn’t join in person but also joined virtually was glad the dusts had finally settled for a smooth running of the health students front.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony, the NUGS president admonished the student leaders present to work diligently and ensure they meet the needs and interests of their followers.
The new NAHSAG executives led by the president, H.E. Ernest Agyare, re-affirmed their commitment in building a formidable health students front and to lead with integrity without any partisan infiltrations.
He further stated that they will in the next few days beging to tackle the problems bedeviling the health students and fresh graduates in the country.
The ceremony ended around 5:30pm with stories captured by some media stations who were present.
