The Civil Service and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has declared a strike effective Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
The Association had in an earlier letter dated June 21, 2024, indicated its intention to proceed with a nationwide strike if the new salary structure for the staff of the Civil Service and the Local Government Service is not implemented.
A statement dated July 2, 2024, signed by the Executive Secretary, Isaac Bampoe Addo, directed “all staff of the Civil Service and Local Government Service to stay away from work until further notice.”
