Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel George Nettey has appealed to President Nana Akufo-Addo to pay cleaners at the Jubilee House their five months salary.
One Foster Domey who claims to have worked at the Jubilee House for seven years says life has been difficult having to live for five months without salary.
“We have asked why we have not been paid for five months. But the company which employed us says the government has not paid them, hence the inability to pay us our salary,” he said in an interview with an Accra based Radio Station.
He said the management has assured them of paying their salaries very soon and they are hopeful that they will receive their salaries.
Commenting on the allegation in an interview with GHOne TV, Samuel Goerge Nettey appealed to President Akufo-Addo to ensure that what is due the cleaners are paid to them.
“I am using this as an appeal to the President. President Akufo-Addo, the cleaners at the Jubilee House say for five months they have not been paid their salary. Please pay them. For five months, President Akufo-Addo why? What it takes you to fly one trip with Serwaa Broni will pay all these cleaners.”
