Mr. Dawda Erskine mentioned that the bank’s excellent customer service has encouraged many residents to save with them.
He highlighted that the bank’s annual profits have exceeded expectations due to good managerial skills and the support from board members, stakeholders, staff, and everyone associated with the bank.
Enyan Denkyira Rural Bank is one of the leading rural banks in Ghana, and Mr. Erskine encouraged everyone to bank with them. The CEO noted that the bank has been recognized as one of the most reliable rural banks in the Central Region and Ghana.
Due to its reliability, the bank now has five branches: Enyan Denkyira (head office), Ajumako, Bisease, Enyan Abaasa, and Mankessim, with plans to establish more branches to reach all their clients.
Besides banking services, Enyan Denkyira Rural Bank Ltd is also involved in humanitarian and societal support within their catchment area. The bank has supported schools, hospitals, needy people, and the payment of school and admission fees, fulfilling their mission to give back to the community. The CEO pledged that the bank will continue to support the community.
In an interview with Ghone News’ Yaw Boagyan during the 41st Annual General Meeting of Enyan Denkyira Rural Bank Ltd, the immediate past Managing Director of the Agricultural Development Bank, Dr. John Kofi Mensa, applauded the bank for its good work. He emphasized the importance of producing local goods and services to help stabilize the Ghanaian cedi.
Dr. Mensa explained that the Ghanaian cedi has lost value in the world market because Ghanaians rely heavily on foreign currency instead of the cedi. He encouraged Ghanaians to improve productivity to add value to the cedi, stating that this is why the cedi continues to depreciate.
He advised residents in the Central Region to have confidence in Enyan Denkyira Rural Bank Ltd, emphasizing that it is the only rural bank that has come to stay and is committed to serving its clients faithfully.
