A fire engine belonging to Kade Fire Station in the Eastern Region waa on Sunday involved in an accident at Otwenkwanta on the outskirts of Kade.
The crash occurred while Fire officers were responding to an emergency.
It is unclear what caused the accident.
According to a statement issues by the Fire Service “Seven (7) crew members were injured, while one (1) escaped unhurt.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at the St Dominic’s Hospital at Akwatia and the Kade Government Hospitals
