Ghanaian international Frank Acheampong made a significant impact for Henan FC in their 2-1 triumph over Zhejiang Professional in the Chinese Super League.

The match, part of the 24th round of the season, saw Acheampong play a pivotal role in securing the win for his team.

The game started with an early challenge for Henan FC as Leonardo scored for Zhejiang Professional just four minutes into the match. Despite this early setback, Henan FC quickly rallied, with Acheampong scoring the equalizer in the 22nd minute, thanks to a well-placed assist from Bruno Nazario.

Before the halftime break, Henan FC managed to take the lead when Zichang Huang found the back of the net. This goal proved decisive, as no additional goals were scored in the second half, and Henan FC held on to their lead for a valuable three points.

Acheampong played an integral part in the match, lasting 79 minutes on the field before being substituted by Yihao Zhong. His performance was instrumental in Henan FC’s victory.

Since joining Henan FC in February 2024, Acheampong has contributed significantly to the team, scoring three goals and providing two assists across 20 appearances. His efforts have been a key factor in the team’s success this season.

Acheampong’s current contract with Henan FC is set to last until December 2025, marking an important period for both the player and the club as they look to build on their recent performances.
