The demand by Members of Parliament for release of 4 quarters of the District Assemblies Common Fund arrears has delayed the presentation of Mid-Year Budget Review by Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adams on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
The MPs are entitled to 5% of the District Assembly Common Fund.
The Finance Minister is expected to present a statement on the Mid-Year Review of Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government for the 2024 financial year on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
The presentation will provide an update on the implementation of the 2024 Budget, including insights into the economic and fiscal performance for the first half of the year.
