Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central in the Western Region and the Western Regional Patron of the Women’s Working Committee, has made a significant contribution of GHC20,000 to each of the 17 Constituency Women Organizers in the region.
This substantial donation, amounting to GHC340,000, is intended to bolster their efforts ahead of the December 07, 2024 elections.
Acknowledging the pivotal role of women in the party’s organizational structure, particularly during elections, Joana Gyan Cudjoe further contributed GHC100,000 to the Regional Women’s Organizer and GHC30,000 each to her two deputies. In total, she has donated GHC500,000 to empower the Women Organizers to mobilize more women in support of the party.
While presenting the funds to Western Regional Women’s Organizer Madam Gladys Egyir and Deputy Western Regional Treasurer Ms. Mirian Plange-Kwofie, Joana Gyan Cudjoe stressed the importance of unity within the party.
She urged all party supporters to set aside their differences and work together towards a common goal, emphasizing the need to campaign vigorously to secure victory for the John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman ticket, as well as for all 17 NDC Parliamentary candidates in the Western Region.
This generous contribution underscores Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s dedication to empowering women in politics and ensuring the NDC’s success in the upcoming elections.
