Parliamentary candidate for Asawase Constituency, Alhaji Mubarak has mentioned that his removal as chief whip has lifted a huge burden on him.

He exclaimed that he’d been freed from his burdens and was now at peace. In the future, he plans to help other MPs in their constituencies.

“I am at peace, complete peace with myself. Sometimes you don’t know the kind of burden you are carrying until you put it off”, he said.

He added, “I mean, the very day we entered those offices, we knew that there would be a day that we would be walking out of them”.

He continued, “Everybody is working in his constituency to make sure that he or she is not only retaining his or her seat but also helping other MPs who may be vulnerable and may need your help.”

“So, I’ve been to Wenchi, I’ve been to Salaga, I’ve been to so many other places trying to help others. I mean, how can a bitter person be doing all these things? No, I mean, I’m completely at peace with myself”, he averred.
