Ghanaian Gospel Musician Nana Osei, popularly known as NACEE has shared his dedication to composing songs for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and his support for Mahama’s policies.

During an interview at the final rally for the NDC at Madina, he expressed that despite the risks associated with aligning with a political party as a musician, he supports the NDC and its policies.

“At the beginning, I wasn’t sure because, you know, in Ghana, if you’re a musician and you decide to compose songs for political parties, you are kind of side-lined. But I took all the risk because I love President Mahama so much and the policies of the NDC,” he said.

Speaking on the resonance of his songs with the promises of John Mahama and the NDC, he highlighted that people have misunderstood nature of the former president.

“Most of the time, you see, people don’t know him that well. Because if you haven’t gotten close to President Mahama, you might think that what some opponents say about him is true. But when you get close to him, you realize that no, he’s a different person. He’s a very loving person,” he noted.

He highlighted that his goal is to ensure that Ghanaians see the positive side of President Mahama, countering the negative narratives from opponents.

“It’s my duty to make sure that Ghanaians will accept, will know the other side of him than the negative side that the opposition is talking about,” he stated.

He further expressed his excitement for his upcoming performance and his commitment to delivering powerful messages through his music.
