Member of alliance world edition of change, Dr Susan Adu Amankwah has expressed opinion on the public sector being efficient and effective.
Speaking to Ghone tv, she remarked that in Mahama statement about the private sector will only work if the public sector is functioning efficiently.
” If the public sector doesn’t work, the private sector can’t do anything so we must focus on having an efficient public sector”. She stated
She continued that if the 24 hr economy will work well then the public sector and the private sector must function well.
” An efficient public sector will make the private sector work better” she stated.
She added that if the 24 hr economy will function there should be input. She explained the 24 hr economy must start with what we have and make sure it is run efficiently.
“When we are talking about industrialization we must start start with what we have and make sure they are run efficiently. When we are talking about komenda , we have have the implements of sugarcanes such that it can run 24/7 of at least six months continuously” she suggested.
