
The Chief of Bura-Anamoa, a community within Anomabo in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region, has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to fight hard and complete all the abandoned projects he started before leaving power in 2016.
The Chief urged President John Dramani Mahama to complete and commission the Anomabo Fisheries College as he promised them during the 2024 campaign time.
Addressing the gathering at the Fisheries College premises,Nana Essuman Ababio II,the Chief of Bura-Anamoa said,the good people of Anomabo,Mfantseman Municipality and Central Region voted for the NDC in order for them to come and complete all the abandoned projects across the country of which Anomabo Fisheries College is part.
He appealed to him to also support the community with good portable water,roads, and enough security personnel.
In addition,the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency Prince Arhin also said that when the university comes to operation,it’s will create jobs and boost the local economy of the Anomabo community.
He promised that all the abandoned projects in the Mfantseman Municipality would be completed and commissioned.
Lastly,President John Dramani Mahama, in a visit to the Anomabo Fisheries College, expressed his disappointment over the abandonment of the projects.
According to President John Dramani Mahama,he will make all the projects he started before leaving power will be completed in due time.
He said it’s very worrying that Ghanain tax paying money has stuck in a bush but will make sure they will find funds and complete them.
