
Kasoa Ofankor circuit court presided over by her worship. Linda Amissah has jailed two suspects who exhumed the body of a 10-year-old boy at Awutu Adawukwa cemetery for the establishment of the shrine in the Awutu Senya West District
The two suspects have been sent to nsawam prisons to serve their 4-year jail sentence.
The unfortunate incident came to light when the suspect was caught by some Okada riders at Ashalaja when transporting the body to Amasaman at midnight.
The two suspects, Fofo Agboyeme and Kwame Agboyeme confirmed to the court that they exhumed the body of James Ajoyemeh to build a shrine at Amasaman, which they will use for rituals.
If we recall,Ghone News Yaw Boagyan reported a month ago that a body of 10 years old boy has been exhumed by aforementioned names at Awutu Adawukwa cemetery for rituals.
The Assemblyman of Awutu Adawukwa electoral area, Hon. Emmanuel Osei has confirmed that the two suspect had been jailed 4yrs by the Ofankor circuit court into Nsawam prisons after they were found guilty.
He said the body has been handed over back to the parents of the deceased, which they have transported to their hometown, Volta region, for another burial.
