
The Vice President for the Republic of Ghana has donated foodstuffs to the Muslim communities in the Central Region during this Ramadan season.
The Central Regional Minister, Hon.Ekow Panyin Eduamoah Okyere, and the NDC party executives, on behalf of the Vice President, have donated foodstuffs to Muslim communities across the region.
Presenting the items to Cape Coast Mosque, the Central Regional Minister appealed to Muslims who are doing Ramadan fasting to pray for President John Dramani Mahama and his Vice president to deliver massively.
He urged them to as part of the Vice President’s promises, make sure all the good things she and the NDC party are having for them have been made.
Through the donations, the Central Regional Minister also appealed to the Muslim communities to adopt cleanliness in order to do away with the cholera outbreak in the Central Region.
She urged them to always preach healthy living to their people.
According to him, the country is spending a lot on the cholera outbreak in almost three months since they took power.
The Central Regional Minister then said he is poised to bring developmental projects into the region, not to go out and clean the environment.
The country will be involved in causing financial loss to the state since money that will be used to bring development in the various districts is being used to clean the environment, which must not be entertained in any way.
He promised to help fight the outbreak of cholera in our communities.
Speaking in an interview with Ghone news Yaw Boagyan, Alhaji Mahamud Dandy IV, the Central Regional Zongo Chief Imam also thanked Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman, the Vice President for the kind of gesture.
He said,Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman and the NDC party has never turned their back to the Muslim communities in the Central Region.
According to him,the Muslims communities in the Central Region will also do their best and support her to achieve their aid and vision bin their term in office.
According to him, he believes in Professor Jaane Naana Opoku Agyeman and believes she will fulfil the promises she and the NDC have for the Muslim communities across the country.
He also promised to always preach about healthy living to do away with the cholera outbreak in the Central Region.
According to the chief imam, cleanliness is one of their priorities, so will make sure the mission has been achieved.
