The Minister of Communication in Presidency, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency, has said that the government is poised to construct 600 CHPs Compound Hospital by the end of 2025.

According to him, the government is poised to construct 2,000 CHPs Compound hospital within four years before President John Dramani Mahama ends his office.

Speaking in an interview with Ghone news Yaw Boagyan, Hon.Felix Kwakye Ofosu said,each District in Ghana will get two CHIPs Compound Hospitals from the District Assembly’s Common fund.

He said the government is poised to make health care one of his priorities accros the country.

He said the government has made emphatically to at least establish CHPS compounds in every community in the country, especially deprived communities,to make easy accessibility of health care.

Hon.Felix Kwakye Ofosu lament that the government is doing its possible to bring health into the door step of Ghanains hence has decided to construct at least two CHPs Compound Hospitals in every District within this year.

Speaking in an interview with Ghone news Yaw Boagyan during the donations of medical equipment to Brafoyaw Health Centre in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District, he said,he is optimistic of making sure people in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District have access to quality health care.

He said that despite the fact that he was a Parliamentary Candidate before the 2024 general elections,he was prevented from supporting the Health Centres with medical equipment but promised to support them after he became the Member of Parliament.

He said that donating medical equipment to the Brafoyaw community health centre was one of his campaign promises, and he will make sure all his 2024 campaign promises have been fulfilled.

He said that people in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District should calm down, for they are coming to experience a massive development under his leadership as a minister and also the member of parliament for the area.

Some of the medical equipment he donated were fridge, flat screen television, scale,drugs,hospital beds, and other equipment.

Lastly, Residents of Brafoyaw, after receiving the medical equipment, uplauds the Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency for his massive support.

According to them,they have been experiencing challenges anytime they visit the health centres.

They said the entirely Brafoyaw community of over 2000 population is having only one old hospital bed, which was not sufficient.

They said they had to visit Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for medical treatment due to insufficient medical equipment, but th e newly medical equipment they have receiving will go a long way to help the community.

They are happy for the minister for donating the medical equipment for the community.

The residents then appealed to the minister to support th3 hospital with toilet and urinal facility.

According to them,this is the first time they have witnessed a massive medical equipment in the Brofoyaw community under NDC government and they have promised to retain him community 2028 general elections.
