Award-winning dancehall musician Shatta Wale has revealed that Lord Kenya’s prophesy about him dropping the microphone for the work of God was true, saying that expectation will come to pass in 2020.
“I am a prophet from God. That’s how I see myself. Lord Kenya has been saying Shatta Wale will be a pastor. He is not lying, I have seen it in my dream so Lord Kenya was right , I spoke with God in my dream and some years to come specifically year 2020 Ghanaians will see the gentle man in me when I trim my hair to accept God’s call.”
Speaking to Pluzz FM Friday, CEO of Shatta Movement Empire added that if he receives that calling from the omnipotent to put down his musical tools to preach his word, he will not turn his back on God.
He is best known for his biggest breakthrough hit song Dancehall King which led to him winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
Meanwhile several Ghanaian hip life or highlife musicians have found God. The likes of Lord Kenya and Akoo Nana among others claimed they have found God and have since abandoned their music profession.
