The United Nations office in Ghana has promised to come to the country’s aid in finding a solution to the perennial flooding situation.

Resident Coordinator, Ms Christine Evans-Klock in a statement Friday said her office was ready to assist in finding a workable solution.

“The UN will work with partners to support the efforts of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) toward early recovery.”

Almost 200 lives were lost last week from torrential rains and a filling station inferno.
