Mr Noel Ganson, the Acting Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Ghana, has called on the youth to look beyond the regular and traditional avenues of searching for employment.
He said through the digital world many opportunities were available for them to search for their dream jobs, connect with friends and tap from other people’s experience.
Mr Ganson was speaking at the third MTN Career Fair in Accra to give young people the opportunity to learn and understand the requirements of the job market and those available to them.
He said the fair was a unique life enriching platform organized every year for students and graduates, who were now starting a professional career.
“The importance of this programme goes beyond getting a start in your career lives, it is also to expose you to the realization that there are many opportunities in the digital world, which can be explored,” he said.
The Acting Chief Marketing Officer encouraged participants to register for ‘MTN Pulse’, to enable them do more with less money on the MTN network.
Mrs Ama Benneh-Amponsah, the Human Resource Executive, MTN Ghana, speaking on career planning said in career planning one needed to develop the right altitude, interest, personality, create value and skills.
She said in choosing the right career, individuals must have their personal preference with requirement to strive.
