Director in charge of Reliefs and Reconstruction at the National Disaster Management Organisation(NADMO), Gavivina Tamakloe has appealed to NGO’s, and Relief Agencies to coordinate with NADMO in operations across the country.

The collaboration he said, will aid the efficient distribution of relief items and ensure that national support
to victims of disaster is shared equitably.

As a result of lack of effective partnership between NADMO and various Relief Agencies, there is currently a lack of support that are extended to victims in certain areas, he says.

On Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM, Mr Tamakloe observed that because NADMO is not informed on the relief operations ongoing in certain areas, it was difficult for them to undertake an aggregate report from the grounds vis a vis the demands on support of last week’s national disaster.
