Power Minister Kwabena Donkor has resigned from his position.

Kasapafmonline.com sources at the Ministry say he tendered his resignation today, a decision informed by an advice from government.

Donkor’s resignation comes hours after his Ministry put out a statement suggesting Ghana’s power crisis of some four years were over, sticking to an earlier promise to end it by close of the year.

A number of meetings were held in the hours after the statement went out to decide Donkor’s fate.
