Government must not compromise on cracking the whip on persons who are complicit in the Accra floods and Fire disaster, Security Analyst and Head of Research at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre(KAIPTC), Dr Kwesi Aning has said.
In an interview with Accra-based JOY FM, Dr. Kwesi Aning said government needed to mobilize a pool of resources to come to the aid of the many helpless people affected by the disaster.
Resources presented so far are insatiable to meet the demands and huge financial burden of each individual or family of victims affected, he adds.
Close to 200 people were perished after floods and a GOIL Filling Station explosion at the Nkrumah Circle in Accra.
