Two persons have been confirmed dead by the Northern regional Police in the renewed clashes that hit the Bunkpurugu area in the Northern region.
There have been heavy gunfire exchanges in Bunkpurugu,Wednesday between two factions Jamong and Jafog.
Several houses have been torched in the renewed conflict, while many have fled the area to seek refuge in nearby towns.
The two factions are contending the right to the throne, which has persisted for over two decades.
