The ferry that sank on the Afram River Saturday night which resulted in one person being drowned and several others injured is yet to be retrieved.
The injured are currently on admission at a hospital in the area.
The small ferry sank while carting a truck [Man Diesel vehicle] and some goods from Atoaboma to Bridge Anu. It’s believed that the weight of the vehicle and goods caused it to sink, locals say.
The Kwahu Afram Plains District Security Council (DISEC) has mounted a search for the missing person.
