Ghana has dropped to the 41st from the 33rd position in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.

Ghana dropped eight places on the log even though the Black Stars did not play any official game between January and February.

The four-time African Champions also lost 85 points in the nation’s points accumulation.

Ghana is now fourth in the African rankings after Cote d’Ivoire-1st (28th in the world on 828 points), Cape Verde Islands-2nd (33rd in the world with 790 points), Algeria-3rd (36th in the world on 746 points).

Senegal, Tunisia, Congo Brazzaville, Egypt and DR Congo and Guinea round the top ten in Africa.

Meanwhile, there were no changes in terms of the rankings of the top 18 teams on the planet. Belgium, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Colombia, England and Austria made up the top ten teams in the world.
