The Police administration has vowed to deal with persons making utterances in connection with the murder of the Abuakwa North lawmaker that may bother on criminality.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service, Supt. Cephas  Arthur has reiterated that the Police have not yet put out any report on its investigation on the matter, hence asked the public to desist from making statements that will jeopardize the ongoing investigations.

“No aspect of the ongoing investigations have been made public-Anything said that will bother on criminality, we’ll deal with that seriously,” he cautioned in an interview with Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM Monday.

Supt Cephas Arthur said no politician has been established as complicit in its investigations, dismissing rumours on social media that presidential staffer, Stan Dogbe has a hand in the death of the late Abuakwa North MP Joseph Boakye Danquah.

He claimed the Police will get to the bottom of the matter shortly following the strides it has made since a criminal investigation was opened into the case.

The Abuakwa North MP, Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu was stabbed to death Tuesday dawn in his bedroom at his East Legon residence in Accra.

One person has been arrested in connection with the killing of the late MP . He’s currently being held and interrogated to ascertain the motive of his actions.
