An elder sister of the murdered Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, J.B Dankwa Adu wants whoever is found to have killed the late MP to be made to taste his (killer’s) own bitter medicine.

According to Abena Acheampomaa, there is no justification why someone who has committed such dastardly and criminal act to be allowed to live and enjoy life.

The former MP was gruesomely murdered at dawn on Tuesday February 9 at his home at Shiashie in Accra.

Police investigations showed he suffered two stab wounds, one to his rib, the other to his abdomen.

Five people including a security man, a driver and some others at the residence were later the same day picked up by the police to help with investigations.

The NPP had indicated that it suspected foul play in the murder. A team of investigators, acting upon a tip-off, arrested the suspect.

In an interview with Kasapa FM’s Litecia Ohene Asiedu, Abena Acheampomaa stated that though the family is very happy about the suspect’s arrest they’re impatiently waiting for the truth in the whole case.

“We need to know the entire facts in the matter. The truth is what we are waiting to hear, as to whether he was hired by someone to kill our beloved brother or he did that on his own volition.”

She added: “Such a person who has mercilessly killed another person should not have a lawyer defending him. You don’t kill someone and expect that you’ll live. The suspects when found guilty must also be killed like he killed our brother.

Previously, we said Ex President Rawlings was a bad person, Rawlings is never a bad person, he is very good. This is the kind of things that he abhors. If this crime had happened during his time, he would have dealt ruthlessly with the perpetrators and their pay master as soon as they are found.”

Meanwhile, the one week memorial service of the late MP will be held Tuesday February 16 at his hometown in Akim Tafo in the Eastern Region.
