
The trial of the alleged killer of the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, J.B Danquah Adu begun on Tuesday February 16.
The suspect was arraigned before an Accra Magistrate court.
The young man was brought to court in the company of officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Police Service.
Spotting a white T shirt and a khaki trouser the suspect was ushered into the court room for guilt or innocence in the case to be established.
The suspect allegedly gruesomely murdered the MP dawn on Tuesday February 9 at his home at Shiashie in Accra.
Police investigations showed he suffered two stab wounds, one to his rib, the other to his abdomen.
As the trial begins today, the one week memorial celebration of the death of the late JB Danquah Adu is also being held today February 16 in Akim Tafo his hometown.
