Leadership of the ruling National Democratic Congress has set Sunday June 21 to hold primaries for the Talensi constituency seat, which has been declared vacant by the Electoral Commission.
The seat became vacant after the sitting MP Robert Doameng Mosoore was enskined chief of the Tolon traditional area.
Some six people have already picked up nomination forms. Candidates are to pay a filing fee of 10, 000 cedis.
The Electoral Commission has set July 7 as date for the elections.
