Ghanaian journalists, Sunday, were given a special treat by organizers of the 59th Independence Anniversary celebrations of the West African nation by making them cover event in the bucket of a white tipper truck.
Members from the inky fraternity, mainly photojournalists, who had stormed the Black Star Square, the event ground, early in the morning, were left stranded when they were hit with the news that no space was earmarked to accommodate them to cover the celebrations.
They had no choice than to accept to cover the parade in the tipper truck when permission was granted to them to use it.
Pictures of the scene which went viral on social media platforms saw some journalists register their displeasure over the disturbing spectacle on behalf of their colleagues who were on the event ground.
