A branding expert, Scoffery Nana Yaw Yeboah says the gaffe in the independence brochure cannot adversely affect the nation’s brand.
According to him, the focus should be on the success of the event organization and not a mere blunder which in no way undermines the beauty of the independence celebration.
There were several typographical errors in the independence brochure leading to a public outburst and mockery. The Information Service Department (ISD) has subsequently apologized to the President and the people of Ghana for the mix up.
Nana Yaw Yeboah admitted the error was in bad faith and shouldn’t have happened.
He therefore conscientized the media to have a branding sense thereby protecting brand Ghana than exposing it to mockery.
