Lynn Care Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Friday, gave a treat to some underprivileged children at Tema Station in the Greater Accra Region.

The treat, according to the Founder of the NGO, Madam Linda Dadson, was to show love and care for the poor and vulnerable in the society.

According to her, the gesture was in line with the spirit of the Easter season.

Hundreds of street children including porters around Tema Station, were fed with hot meals and some cold drinks.

In what appeared to be a party mood, the children were full of smiles as they enjoyed their delicacies.

They were also given some first aid drugs and some used cloths.

Speaking to the media after the event, Madam Linda Dadson stated that children would become effective future leaders only when they were assisted with their education and their talents developed.

She said it was in this regard, that the NGO, besides raising awareness and giving counseling on HIV/AIDS was also assisting orphans and needy children to attend school.
The founder noted that they will continue to extend their wings to all the 10 regions and also educate parents, especially, porters on upbringing of their children.
