Madam Gifty Twum-Ampofo, the new Abuakwa North MP, Tuesday, took the oaths of office when Parliament reconvened to begin the 2nd Meeting of the 4th Session of the 6th Parliament of the 4th Republic.8

She won a bye-election on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to replace then MP, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Ado, deceased, as complete the last leg of his four-year mandate.4 1 2
