A 50 year-old farmer Soodin Konlan has been arrested by the Police for possession of firearms.
Konlan, who hails from the Northern region was arrested on the Kumasi-Kintampo Highway with four boxes of AAA ammunition, local police in the Brong Ahafo Region say.
It has since been established he deals in ammunition and was transporting some 800 pieces to the Northern Region.
The regional Police add that the ammunition were hid in a mini Tata bus with registration number UE 1162 C.
