The rains are here again and as has been an annual affair, parts of Accra have once again experienced severe flooding after few hours of downpour Tuesday morning.
Areas such as Adabraka, Mallam and Kaneshie have been inundated with water. There have been no reports of human casualties as yet but residents in these flooded areas have lost properties.
The Mallam overpass has been submerged making it impossible for cars to move freely, the situation is no different at Kaneshie.
The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has been on hand to help affected persons.
