Hip-hop star AKA’s hit album Levels has officially gone platinum.
Taking to social media earlier this week the rapper announced the news.
Reflecting on his success and how far he’s come in his career‚ AKA took a trip down memory lane.
“Now that I think about it …. I don’t miss the come up at all. I don’t miss the BnB’s I used to stay in.I don’t miss the shady promoters.I don’t miss performing for people who don’t know the words to my songs‚” he said on Twitter.
AKA added that there were so many situations about the road to the victory that stand out for him‚ which include walking to the nearest offramp after his mom’s car broke down.
“One time my mom’s car broke down and I had to walk down the highway to the Shell‚ all the way to the nearest off ramp. My phone was dead‚” he said.
