The 2015 edition of the Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) will officially launch in Accra Friday.

The launch will highlight the details of the event which is slated to hold at the Prestigious London Olympia from August 7th-8th, 2015, organizers say.

At the launch, brand Ambassador Victoria Micheals would disclose how she intends to use her brand to push and market Ghana at the Fashion week celebration in London, a statement released in Accra reads.

Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) is Europe’s largest lifestyle and catwalk event of African-inspired design. It combines a collaborative catwalk and exhibition, highlighting the industry’s established and emerged African designers.

AFWL aims at capturing the surge of the African inspired trends in the fashion industry and to celebrate the work of African and African inspired designers in the UK and worldwide.

This year’s event will attract hundreds of Designers, Businesses and Exhibitors from across the globe. Some 20,000 patrons will be attending the AFWL 2015 event, organizers say.

“The Africa Fashion Week London has become bigger and better by the year, we are proud to be showcasing Africa to the world. I am particularly excited at the global media interest on the AFWL, it is simply amazing,” Ronke Ademiluyi, founder of AFWL said.

This 5th Edittion of the Africa Fashion Week will be climaxed by a Gala Dinner and Award Night at the Luxurious Dorchester Hotel in London.

The event is expected to attract the crème-de-la-crème of Celebrities, Stakeholders, Business and Political leaders etc. It will be a night of glitz and glamour highlighting great international media presence.
