The embattled Member of Parliament for the Klortey Korley constituency , Nii Armah Ashiettey has filed an application for judicial review on the ruling of the Supreme court stopping the hearing of his case challenging the eligibility of the parliamentary nominee, Dr. Zanetor at the high court.
Nii Armah Ashitey and his lawyers are contending the supreme court 4:1 ruling on May 19.
The ruling follows an application filed by Dr. Zanetor challenging the capacity of the High court hearing the matter.
According to her suit, the trial judge erred in law when he wrongfully assumed jurisdiction in interpreting Article 94 clause 1(a) of the 1992 Constitution.
Mr Ashitey has therefore filed a motion to review the earlier May 19 ruling by the apex court.
