Ghana’s capital-Accra was once again heavily flooded after few hours of downpour before noon Thursday.

The rains activated the country’s emergency and rescue operations at certain parts of  the capital, Accra that was worst hit by flooding.

A team of State and local emergency management officials made up of the National Disaster Management Organisation(NADMO), Police, and the Ghana Army were swift in response to the impacts of Thursday rains to prevent disaster and rescue locals who were trapped in the flood as well.

A visit by Kasapafmonline.com to parts of Accra including Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Dzorwulu, Mallam Junction, Asylum Down and Kaneshie were inundated with water destroying household properties.
