Accra-based pastor Daniel Kwame Kissi, a.k.a Bonegas, who has been fingered in an alleged illegal use of a police escort has shot down the claims, insisting they were untrue.

Bonegas, who is Founder and Overseer of the Great Fire Pentecostal International Ministry is alleged to have engaged the services of an escort who has been identified as Lance Corporal Benjamin Akyea Mensah, without lawful authority.

In an interview with Fiifi Banson on Kasapa FM’s morning show Anopa Kasapa Tuesday Bonegas denied any wrongdoing insisting he’s done no such thing.

“He didn’t do what people are saying he did. He is an usher at my church; we have a very close relationship. He has even named his last born after me. Both him and the wife attend church at my end. We are like family.

“I drive my own cars. I don’t use Police escort. When we even travel on long distances, we use a maximum of three cars.

“The person we are talking about doesn’t even know how to use a motor bicycle.”

The Police had in a statement this week asked persons engaged in the act of unlawful use of escorts to desist from the act.
