Authorities at the Princess Marie Louise Hospital popularly known as the Children’s Hospital in Accra, were full of appreciation today as staff of Inesfly Africa visited the hospital to paint the wards with Inesfly Insecticide paints.

The exercise forms part of the company’s social responsibility which seeks to ensure that hospitals, schools and communities across the country are safe from endemic diseases, such as Malaria and Chagas.

Speaking to Kasapa News, the Marketing and Communications Officer for Inesfly Africa, Madam Suzy Elizabeth Koranteng stated that the Inesfly 5A IGR NG interior paint is a water-based paint that can be used on all indoor surfaces where there is a high level of insect infestation.

Madam Koranteng explained further that the Inesfly 5A IGR exterior paint is also a water-based paint that can be used on all outdoor surfaces where there is a high level of insect infestation.

“From home-use to professional-use, both Inesfly 5A IGR interior paint and  Inesfly 5A IGR NG interior paint helps you to achieve the ultimate long-term protection against insects. 5A IGR exterior paint is recommended in areas where there is a pyrethroid resistance problem”, she added.

She indicated that the paint lasts for two years thus preventing the environment against insects such as mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, bedbugs, fleas, ticks, spiders, scorpions, ants, mites and others.

Asked about what makes Inesfly different from other insecticides, Madam Koranteng said “we analyse each situation to execute the project, we provide specific solutions and finally we monitor and evaluate the results. This allows us to continually improve our products”.

She explained further that Inesfly uses a new technology with polymeric microcapsules which allows the insecticides to be released in a gradual and slow manner, therefore persisting and prolonging the active duration of the ingredients whilst remaining totally safe and harmless to humans and pets.

Madam Koranteng was optimistic that Inesfly will soon lead the market as Africa’s most effective insecticide.

Another hospital which has also benefited from the company’s social responsibility is the Tema General Hospital which had some sections of the hospital painted about a  month ago.
