Ethiopian Airlines, the largest and most profitable airline in Africa, has rewarded the top selling travel and tour Agents in Ghana.
The agents include: Satguru Travel and Tour, GS Plaza Travel, Poza Travel and Tour, Platinum Travel and Tours, Doscar Travel and Tours Limited.
Others are: Melcom Travel and Tours Limited, Bindu Travels Limited, FJ Travel and Tour, Stellar Travel (Ghana) Limited, Airborne Travels Limited, Travel Matters Limited, Afro Wings Limited, Expert Travel and Tours Limited and Travel Places Limited.
The rest are: Josh Travels Limited, Starline Travel and Tours Limited, Deradec Executive Travel and Tour, Africa Origin Travels, Blue Cube Travel Ghana Limited, Topmount Tours Limited and Meridian Travel.
The list also includes: Venture – G Travels Limited, Universal Travel and Tourist Services, Krys J Travel and Tours Limited, Klass one Travel and Tour Limited, Ramel Travel and Tours Limited and Karroum Travel and Tours Limited.
Mrs Genet Michael, the Area Manager for Ethiopian Airlines in Ghana presenting the awards thanked the agents for contributing to the growth of the Airlines, making it number one in Africa.
The event was also to award dedicated and deserving agents, who have supported the Airline through its 70th Anniversary in the Aviation industry.
She assured the agents of more rewards as they continue to give their passengers great benefit.
She also announced that Ethiopian Airlines has started flights to New York via Lome and Durban and has introduced the newest Aircraft the A350 into its already modern fleet.
The A350 has joined the trend setting Dreamliner B787, which already serves Ghana well.
Ethiopian Airlines have been flying to Ghana since independence.
Mr Felix Jennings Boafo, the Marketing Director, Travel Matters expressed gratitude to the management of the Airline for the recognition.
He said the company would continue to promote the relationship that existed before the two companies for mutual benefits.
The Airline was honoured as the best Airline in Africa at the Ghana Aviation awards held in Accra.
The awards were the first Ghana National Aviation awards to recognise distinctions in the Aviation industry.
