Premier League side Albion will test Aston Villa’s resolve to hold on to lead striker Jordan Ayew with an improved bid this week according to reports in the English media.
The Ghanaian is one of the lead players for Aston Villa and they have shown resistance and desire to hold on to him this summer.
But new West Brom chairman John Williams is a huge fan of the Ghana international and is willing to test the waters again with an improved bid.
Earlier in the summer Villa rejected a bumper 8 million pounds bid from Hamburg for the striker and have made it clear they will not entertain any offers for the former Marseille forward.
Tunis Pulis’s side saw a club record bid for Diafra Sakho brushed away and now all attention has been turned to Aston Villa’s Ghanaian forward.
Jordan joined Villa from Lorient last season and scored 8 goals in the league.
